The Kobb Log #5: This classic 80s-style movie zine kicks off with a brief history of aliens in Hollywood, followed by an eclectic bunch of reviews. I’ve seen Better Off Dead (a great weird comedy) and The Black Cat. The other reviews were cool but the one that really caught my eye was The Swimmer starring Burt Lancaster. Biblio-Curiosa #4: Chris finds the craziest, most obscure books and authors, then writes about them in such loving detail that you feel almost compelled to seek them out for yourself. This issue covers the perverse movie tie-in novel (kinda, sorta) The Werewolf vs. Vampire Women, bizarre author Tiffany Thayer and more assorted weirdness.
